About the event

Bring your voice, curiosity, and settle in for this friendly session where we read a full play from start to finish. Each chosen script has some connection to our heritage - whether it’s centuries old or a bold modern take on Scottish history.

Play reading is surprisingly joyful: you get to speak characters aloud, hear how the story flows, laugh at unexpected lines, and discover dramatic voices you might never have found on your own.

No acting experience needed.

Just turn up, settle in, and enjoy the shared experience of live storytelling on the page.

This event runs as part of City of Poets Takeover of Knightswood Pavillion as they make February the COOLEST month. To see the full programme of events, see our Events homepage or email glasgowcityofpoets@gmail.com .
