Week 1: Paranormal Punctuation
The scariest session of the lot. A tailored hour exploring the terrifying monster that is... Punctuation...
The session is underpinned by the notion of BREATH as the key element.
Alongside this we will look at fundamentals of punctuation marks, as well as other devices that support BREATH and the life of poem.
Come with questions, concerns and share your deepest fears. Do you wake up at night worrying about M-dashes? Are you plagued by poorly used semi-colons? Well come along, put your fears to bed and find the confidence to punctuate your life!
Participants are encouraged to each submit a piece of work of 40 lines or fewer, four days in advance of the session.
